The Housing Division at MSU, comprised of Residence Life and Family & Graduate Housing, offers a unique, on-campus living background forstudents and their families as they focus on their academic success. The Assistant Director of Residence Life, a member of theHousing Division's Leadership Team, assists the Chief Housing Officer and Associate Director of Residence Life in the management and programdevelopment of a 3,300+ student residence life program at the University. In coordination with the Leadership Team the Assistant Directorsupervises the administrative procedures of 8 Resident Directors; supervises, evaluates, and coordinates the tasks of the Residence LifeCentral Office administrative staff and all administrative functions associated with the Office; coordinates the contract release/exemptionprocess; creates, maintains, and updates all departmental marketing pieces (including web content); coordinates the housing applicationprocess; directs the department's MSU Friday's efforts; and provides leadership and direction to all personnel in the Housing System asneeded in the CHO and Associate Director's absence.
